Snowpatch holds some of the hardest route in the Bugaboos. 37 + routes exist on the mountain. All four side of the mountain have climbs on it. I have successfully climbed my first route on the mountain with two great friends. Alison Denis and Josee Larochelle, who is now married to Kelly MacLeod.

The day was really hot, Michel D and I headed back to the Hut from climbing on McTech Arete area. We were on the moraine heading down, we just happened to stop to take a picture of Snowpatch and she erupted as we were focusing. Unbelievable.

The scramble route on East Post Spire is highly recommended. Very fun! Full of challenging and scary boulder problems. The views of Snowpatch from here are unforgettable. Great mornings adventure if you are leaving that day for the parking lot.

Snowpatch is so unbelievable from up on the summit of Bugaboo Spire. The mountain is so thin, and huge. The summit ridge of Snowpatch is very narrow and exposed.
